I heard these things help lighten or even erase scars completely but I want to know which one is the BEST PRODUCT for people who have tried EVERYTHING for their scars to go away. Especially for PIMPLE SCARS and MOSQUITO BITES (even though you tried really hard not to scratch them but it still left some scars).
First of all, ARE THESE PRODUCTS SAFE TO PUT ON FACE? HOW MANY TIMES A DAY DO I HAVE TO USE IT?
cocoa butter? - If it is, what brand and where can I find it in the Philippines?
Mederma? - Can we buy it in the Philippines? Is it available in Mercury Drug?
Sebo de Macho? - Many Filipinos use this but does it really help or it just whitens the skin? (which will look nasty if you only put it on some parts of your face)
Johnson's baby oil gel w/ aloe vera and vitamin e?
Bio-Oil Scar Treatment?
those Vitamin E gel capsules that you can prick and apply the gel on your skin? - If so, which brand?
Which is better for SCARS? cocoa butter, Mederma, Sebo de Macho, etc.?Yes, in my experience, to some of the above. I've used aloe vera gel and aloe from the actual plant. Also, vitamin e capsules are great for scars! Any brand works well; you can also buy vitamin e oil in a bottle. Any health food store carries the oil, most stores (such as Walgreens, Walmart, Kmart, etc) carry the capsules. Also, take Vitamin C tablets orally--this is important for healing.
