My skin is not as clear as ..

After the birth of my daughter, my skin has become pigmented esp the nose, cheeks and around my upper lips. I had asked this same Q in this forum and got an answer to use Oil of Olay Regenerist..tried that in vain. Can anyone give me your expert suggestion? I have olive, combination type skin. Of late I also noticed pores in my T zone.

I think your skin just went through that hormonal skin change - with some discoloring.

First off use pure and natural products - see if it will help

(I use Arbonne it is not cheap) but has helped my skin a lot.

I suggest a good hydrating wash (natural), a toner (witch hazel + vitamins) and a good face serum to maybe help with all over skin tone (color) and then a good day cream and repeat at night (night cream)!

Do you exfoliate twice a week (try using a natural one)

and a mask once a week (for healthy skin)

If things don't improve over the next few months bring it up to your doctor. Tell them how it happened after the birth etc.

apply fresh aloe vera gel the best cure for any skin problem herbal solution no need of any ointments etc... n also drink plenty of water n fruit juices avoid oily food

Hormonal changes that occur during pregnancy and nursing period affect the production of melanin, thus causing hyper pigmentation areas to appear on the face and body.

One way to get rid of these annoying spots is professional microderma, but you can only do that after you finish nursing. if you don't want to wait, you can try on of the many at home microderma kits. The best for age spots are Neutrogena, Ponds, Dermanew and Youthful Essence from Susan Lucci. I've tried them all in time and they do work if you use the kits right. They also unclog pores, so you will be solving two problems at the same time.
