My pitbulls hair is weird....

My pitbull use too shed alot but now he stopped sheding i changed the food frm pedigree to eukanuba but the problems is that the top part of his body is an ugly dark brown color and side is light brown and sometimes it gets a lil darker like it gets shinny and then somedays it looks messed up again, only the top part, what should i do???

Shave all his hair or what....

He is a year and 2 months old i dont think its nothing of the pigments stuff

Brush him and put some kind of oil such as, Nutricoat or Fish Oil into his diet. By all means - DON'T SHAVE HIM!

He is not shedding because it is cold and he needs all his hair. The color is only cosmetic.

Do not shave your dogs hair.

Your dogs fur contains a special shape and chemicals that help to keep him warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Shaving him will only make him scared and hurt him, and make him get sick.

There are many issues going on with your 2 month old right now, and if you attempt to make or adjust too many changes to him, you could scar him physically, or mentally.

What you want to do is give him a short warm bath every few weeks using Dove dish soap, or "baby shampoo", or better yet, go to the pet store and get some dog shampoo.

This will help to keep the dogs coat it's natural color. You may want to take him to the groomer as well, to make sure they see him and can give you any extra advice that you need.
