my cousins wedding is coming up in two weeks and she (cousins mom) wants me to do her make up. i don't know what will be too much and what will be too little since im only used to doing make up for people my age... with unwrinkly skin. heh.
i'm pretty sure that i shouldn't do anything too dark or dramatic. more towards the light and natural side. i don't want to make her look like she's trying to be 20 again, ya know? what are some techniques that would suit her age. i am so clueless. i don't know what color her dress is so i can't really incorporate that into the make up but it's not a big deal.
well, this is what i'm thinking so far...
what color eyeshadow? what type? no pigments i'm pretty sure. matte colors? nothing bright, am i right? maybe a some shimmer?
eyeliner... brown, right? black is a no-no? thin line blended into the lashes.
lashes... mascara & curler? that's real simple right?
cheeks? probably a berry, ruby, or pink-ish color?
lipstick or a semi-shiny gloss?
How should i do makeup for my aunt? she's about 50.?I would definitely use matte eyeshadow rather then shimmery, glittery eyeshadow for starters. What eye color does she have, skintone and so on? Well, for a wedding which I'm guessing is taking place during the day time, different shades of browns for her eyeshadow should be good. Nothing overly dramatic or dark, please no! Natural and light is the way to go.
