Goldfish has gone white?

Okay, my sisters' Goldfish has gone white (there's about 5 other fish, just 1 has gone white).. she recons it's something to do with being a dominent fish, I think differently.
I've read alot to do with fish being in the dark makes a fishes Pigments go white, but why has only 1 fish gone white? (not to mention the light's nearly on all the time).
Any suggestions or reason to why this has happened?
The fish tank is rather large (just below a meter long and about 1 ft. in depth and 1.5 ft. height).
Thanks,
Dys.
Goldfish has gone white?goldfish do go white, for the same reason we go grey! not all goldfish will, but you do see this, and it's natural, nothing to worry about.
the light shouldn't be on all the time, fishies need nighttime too!
Goldfish has gone white? This has nothing to do w/ your question.... why do you feel the need to waste people's time w/ stupid answers just so you can get points? That is so rude. Report It
Goldfish has gone white?I agree with the other answer, and the light should be off at least 12 hours for sleepies and for the algae not to build up and also to let the water temp. return to a normal temp.
Goldfish has gone white? It's fashion conscious.
White is the in colour baby!
Goldfish has gone white? It is probably old.
