Base for mac pigment?

Hey guys!

I just ordered a few hundred dollars worth of makeup from Mac but they would not allow me to order any shadesticks (soon to be discontinued) or Paints,due to where I am located (Japan). Does anyone use anything else to get the Pigment to adhere to the lid? would concealer work? or has anyone used primer potion?

I would recommend using a MAC Paint Pot or Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base underneath the Pigment. You can also use mixing medium (1 part glycerin, 3 parts water) to apply it wet...it looks much more vibrant when it's on. Applying it wet also prevents fall out on your face from applying the Pigment.

Do you have access the new-ish Paint Pots? They are fabulous as a base and the pigments will not budge.

Otherwise, just pick up some Urban Decay Primer Potion.
