Alteration of Iris Pigment?

I read somewhere that there is a procedure usuing lasers that can alter the iris pigment (example: change brown eyes to blue with removing certian pigments to create a diffrent wavelength/color). is this true? and where can I get this procedure done and how much would it cost?

I would not advise lasers to alter eye color. Although they use it for vision correction (which is never 100% accurate) I would not risk my eyesight just to have a different color of eyes.
