Natural/Organic/Unconventional Soaps?

I've been reading a lot about soaps using shea butter, goat's milk, charcoal (supposedly absorbed impurities), Glycerin...
Can someone please clarify some of these for me? I don't want to look it up because all the information I find is by people who are trying to sell their product, so it's somewhat biased. For example, what's the difference between this soap and the average bar of soap? What contents should I stay away from (in both unconventional types and store-bought)? What's good for oily skin, but won't dry it out? What contents will do well for my complection?
I'm really looking to buy a soap that won't tear up my face. I've just been scrubbing with hot water because normal soap will dry out my face REALLY bad. Combination Oily-Dry skin for my face.
Natural/Organic/Unconventional Soaps?BEST organic bath products, EASY: www.SANDYCREEKSOAP.etsy.com You want/need HANDMADE (the old fashion way). If not them, then someone else who sells handmade organic. Their soaps have GLYCERIN in them(a natural moisture retainer). In STORE bought soap glycerin is sold for profit and replaced with a chemical called sodium lauryl sulfate to add lather which is listed in the encyclopedia as a skin IRRITANT. This chemical is found in 98% of ALL STORE bought soaps. READ THE BACK! (Even the ones claiming to be natural). BUT (and I鈥檓 not trying to sell you on them) THESE soaps are organic, natural AND ecofriendly. Matter of fact they say they use recycled packaging for shipping (which is like a dollar fifty). And best of all they are CHEAP! Most eco friendly products are so expensive you can鈥檛 AFFORD to save the world. PS their TEA TREE OIL bar is GREAT for your face!
